Wellcome to the black(berry) / dark side

I also have a passport and I am really loving it (although long time BB user myself). Make sure you go through the sticky threads in the Passport forums for some nice tricks and tips and enjoy your phone.
Some links (I am sure you have checked most already though hehe):

I know it takes some time to adapt but once you get the hang of it I think you will love it .

Enjoy your new Passport my friend and welcome to BlackBerry and CrackBerry!
    All the best!

Hey, don't worry about bricking your device. I suggest looking for the 'blitz' method to update your device using sachesi on your pd. It's very simple, and there are many guides which will explain how it's done.

There's not much that could brick your device. If you encounter a problem, connecting to your PC and using BlackBerry link you can restore your OS to the official release by BlackBerry.

    Enjoy!

    hi all!

i'm also currently in the transition from my soon to be retired htc desize z / vision to me recently purchased passport which is also my first blackberry device i own so i jump aboard this thread to say hi to the passport-lovin-crackberry-family.
somehow i've been looking rather down on the previous generations of bb-phones for various reasons but i guess i learned my lesson for now and appreciate an up-to-date device with a physical keyboard which was one of my key reasons to switch to the passport. not sure i'd done the same if there were any decent android devices featuring a physical kb on the market.
so far i've been pretty impressed with my passport and look forward to explore further into the bb-universe
for now it seems there's quite some things to get used to and i'll yet have to see how i'll cope with missing some apps/features i quite enjoyed on my android device but i'm positive most things will work out for me.

    hear you soon,
    anti

If I may, from what I see, BB10 is a world different from any previous incarnation of BlackBerry OS, which was one of the reasons that made-up my mind to jump in. And I believe I have made the right decision. BB10 is indeed an amazing OS for devices meant for business and serious people.
