    Hi
As you know external hard drives unlike flash/memory drives need high voltage to be runned, so a simple smart phone can not run it with an otg converter....so my question is that is there anyone who could did this before? I heared it can be possible but I dont know how.
Plz if there is anyone who know this proccess should be done, conduce me.

Voltage is enough. My Passport can power external WD HDD, but you can't mount it. NTFS and EXT support is disabled. I've tried to mount HDD using the terminal emulator like BGShell but I don't have root permissions. And there is no way to obtain them. So, the one way that will work is to format your drive as exFAT.

Do you want to take a hard drive with you on the road or just use it at home? If it is at home/work you can use the WiFi drives apps to connect to drives hooked up to a PC.
