Hi I have an encrypted sd card

I want to wipe my passport. Can I just pull the sd card with out decrypting?

Then insert it again to the passport? Will the passport just ask for the sd card password? And just function as normal?

    Thanks

Doing that would render all the files on your SD card useless. Decrypt first your SD card.

    Another encryption question

I want to update via sachesi. Do I need to decrypt my phone before I can update?

    Thanks..

If you're gonna do a nondestructive update then no, you don't need to decrypt your device.
