Dropped a 2# kilo dumbbell at the gym and it bounced an hit my passport, it's ok though the weight never broke so I won't have to pay for it :-D

Yeah that's clearly a typo hence the 2# instead of 20 kilo, large man hands two big for even the passport keypad lol, imagine the hell I had typing on my old iPhone 4 :-0

And FYI I was doing front delt raises with the 20s so if you're beating those numbers then you lift.

That happened to my Q10 a while back
But it was a 35 kilo dumbbell! And it hit the screen, the phone still worked flawlessly just a bit bent where the weight hit so had to replace the broken screen. BlackBerry = tank armor

No its a ridiculous post because the Passports build is far from quality.

it wasn't providence that saved Passport. Passport in it's own element is too intelligent to be affected by Dumb Stuff. Don't keep dumb things near a passport is the lesson.

When I was a young teen in my early days of hitting the gym, one of the trainers there got bothered when I dropped a weight... and he said:

"Some day you'll understand the whole meaning of this but: 'Only pick up what you can put back down.'"

So that was pretty much my one 'karate kid moment'.

This was simply a slip of the hand, I had put the Pp on the floor below the bench whilst I set up the weights for the next set and one slipped out of my hand bounced on the rubber floor and bopped the corner of the oem flip covered Pp, I put the post on as a joke (ala chuck norris is so hard type jokes being a comparison to the hardiness of the Passport) clearly others haven't felt this about there own devices so that fell a little flat,
oh well not to worry you's guys keep talking about screen lift, double typing and if we'd all like to go Google and I will just keep using my blackberry as my sole device wether I'm rocking off to the gym or designing the next protein bar/snack bar (my job) :-)
Either way the passport is alright by me.

I sometimes see people at the gym with the cellphone with them. They go to the training bench and put the phone on the floor. That's the most stupid thing you can do and is like begging for that something should be dropped on it.

Small advice: Don't put the phone on the floor at the gym.

A friend wanted to exchange her 9900 for an iPhone, but the carrier refused as the 9900 wasn't 'faulty', so she then made multiple attempts to break the 9900.....

Eventually, after many attempts, she managed to crack the screen on her 9900.... by jumping up and down on it whilst wearing stiletto heels (and she is at the other end of the scale from anorexic)!

She's very happy with her iPhone(s), but everytime one breaks (usually the glass or a button), she tells everybody that if you want rugged build quality in a smartphone, then you need to buy a BlackBerry.
