I've had the passport for a bit over 3 months now and I'm getting the double typing issue on the keyboard. I started noticing this probably about almost a month ago and it's been getting worse ever since. It's not just happening to specific letters, I've seen it happening to more than half the characters. It will happen once every couple of sentences. It's very annoying and I'm sure i'm not double pressing the key.

I've had Blackberry phones all my life and I first noticed it with my Q10 and it got to the point where I one of the keys actually became a touch key where it would type the character when i touched the key without even pressing it down. I had to replace the keyboard and it fixed the problem.

I tried searching and it doesn't look like anyone else has had this problem but I'm sure it'll start happening soon. It's very frustrating.

I've had mine for 4 months now and have had no problems with double typing.

Weird.

I had the Q10 and never had this issue.

Now I have the PP (since launch) and no issue.

Perhaps you should avoid wearing skinny jeans

You think after the q10 fiasco, they wouldn't let it happen again. We'll see if this goes somewhere or if it was just a minor fluke.


I've had very little double typing issues with my q10.
