Android has home time zone support, iOS has Time Zone Override as options. My Q10 doesn't which makes it pretty unusable when travelling. I want to be able to use the mobile calendar the way I'd use a paper diary: a 10:20 am flight is always 10:20 regardelss which time zone I'm in and where the original appointment was created. The only way not to mess up my calendar which is being kept by my team in London is to stay in the UK time zone, and change the time manually when crossing time zones. This creates many problems: Twitter refuses to work, the World Clock cannot be used. I'm aware of the fact that many people prefer an opposite approach; both Android and iOS offer both. Haven't seen this mentioned in any reviews/user comments so far. Can anybody advise? The very moment BB Passport offers this feature I'll go and buy one.

I never did agree with anything manipulated because of time zone. If I am New York, and I have a 9:00am appointment in LA , the appointment is still 9:00am whether I am in NY or LA. When I travel, the appointment will still be 9:00am. It will never change and should really not be required to be rflected against any time zone at all.

As well if I am in LA with as home network of NY, and I enter an appointment in LA for 9:00am to speak with my boss, the appointment will still be 9:00am when I arrive at his door in NY office.
