    So I notice when I changed my screen brightness setting the battery drains a lot quicker. Obviously I know this is to happen but I think the drain is a bit much. My question is if I keep that setting and allow the battery to adjust to that setting will the batter life improve? Hopefully what I am asking makes sense.

    No, power is power. the brighter your display is, the more power it needs. that's it. The battery has the juice it has.
