    Yeah they apparently moves it. As I recall it used to be over next to the signal strength and such.

    I turned vpn off yesterday the key went away, but this morning it was connected again. How do I keep vpn disconnected? It keeps connecting by itself somehow.

    Update: I turned vpn off this morning and went to work. By the time I got to work, it was back on again and the key symbol is back.
