    Hi forum,

    Hopefully mine is a rare instant but my Passport updated to the 10.3.1 on the day Vodafone released in the UK last week.

    Noticed a few strange hangs in the OS after and at one stage a break down of the graphics in part of the screen but didn't pay any attention as thought the new OS was just ironing itself out.

    Unfortunately this evening after working all day fine my phone has gone into a reboot cycle before all I get is a 4-2 LED blinking sequence. No idea why as it was working fine one moment the next this. So looks like my Passport has died as the last time I had this happen was when my 9900 finally gave out after 2 years..........not 2 months !!

    Has anyone else had this problem since the update ??

    I'M CURRENTLY HAVING A PROBLEM... EVER SINCE THE UPDATE, MY KEYBOARD IS EITHER LIKE NOW, PERPETUALLLY IN CAPITALS... OR IN SYMBOLS.

    I KEEP HAVING TO REBOOT TO RESET IT. THIS IS FRUSTRATING ME!!!

    OP should try using BlackBerry link to reset the phone to the factory setting and then restore from a backup to recover your data.

    The problem in post 2 is likely a hardware problem. Probably should send it back to BlackBerry for repair or replacement

    Yep I tried connecting to link to factory reset but could not get the Passport to connect.

    Unfortunately I've experienced this once before with my 9900 when it finally died on me and had the LED flashing routine while stuck in a reboot loop.

    Fortunately its being sent back to Blackberry for repair/replacement.

    You may not have the newest version of Link - it can ONLY be obtained with the Blend package at www.blackberry.com/blend.

    Was also having trouble with the OTA update. Bit the bullet and did a full wipe. MUCH better now.
