on the Z10 I could press and hold to select emails to delete. A menu bar would allow me to select ones I wanted to delete. This does not seem to appear on the Passport. I can delete one at a time using the actions menu, but there is no option to select others. Am I missing something?

Scroll to the bottom of the actions menu. The select more is still there.

Or use the "triage" top right (3 lines with check mark), more quicker to delete multiple items in the hub.

(providing you have "Email Actions 2" is set to delete under your Display and Actions Hub Instant Actions).
I think the default setting is that, so you don't have to worry about this altogether.

From the hub just press the icon in the top right corner to bring up quick action. Then you can delete whatever you want right away, no need to select then delete. If you want to delete emails before a certain date, touch and hold that date in the hub, an option menu will pop out with the option to delete everything prior to that date

Many thanks. For deleting non contiguous emails, the select more is easier. Thanks for all your suggestions!

Select more is a far better option especially if you have selected to prompt before deletion from server

I was king of mad that the select more is now at the bottom forcing you to do an extra swipe down... then I discovered this method and to be honest is way better, faster and a lot lest clicks / swipes... the undo is useful and when I'm done deleting I hit the corner again to disable it so I do not delete emails my mistake...

I have used the actions menu to delete individual emails but find that to delete non contiguous emails in a long list the select more is much quicker!

I was just giving you an example of how to delete multiple emails at once and I know that is a slow method!

What I do is hold my finger on the date, the press the submenu key and hit delete prior! That's the fastest way to delete!

    Or:

Touch the up arrow key to reveal the right side bar and hit the garbage can icon of each emal you want deleted. It's also fast doing it this way as well!

Thank you! But usually I want to keep some emails and so delete prior would get rid of some I wanted as well as the rest! However I have now found the select more, so all is back to normal!!
