Rotation Lock on the pull down menu?
The Passport can actually rotate to Landscape, it turns it on/off

I believe that one of the "features" that BlackBerry wanted to sell with the Passport was that you can rotate the screen, and scroll through say a story book, with your thumb running down the capacitive keyboard.

I think what the poster is saying is that it doesn't make any sense rotating the display. It doesn't make the display wider or any bigger.

This is true. However as the other posters have stated, you and rotate the device and scroll with your thumb with the capacitive keyboard on either the right or left side of the screen as opposed to underneath it.

Exactly right. And there's something therapeutic in doing it, LOL!
