    To what extent can the manufacturers copy the Passport before it becomes illegal. I hope BlackBerry is already thinking ahead.

    there pretty much isn't a point they stop at. I can assume somewhere someone already has a device looking exactly like it running ICS or kitkat and with a glance of the device and the screen off you wouldn't know the difference

    They have patents in countries that matter, that will block the sale of any products that infringe on those patents. No hope in China though.
