Hi I just got a Passport from work from Telus.

Not sure if BBM voice/video is blocked, but it says that I am not connected to the network or WiFi. I enabled calls over network.

I can "receive" calls but I can't answer them, on the other side it still shows calling even though I answered it.

My colleague has also the Passport but he didn't update his BBM yet. But his BBM voice works, not sure about video yet.

    Anyone has this problem?

BBM video works on network as well. It has worked on my Q10 from day 1 and works on network on my Passport.

Check with Telus, they may have to do something on your account to access these Blackberry services. Typically they are unlimited, but it may have something to do with your account if it is an older account. Could also be BES related if you are on a corporate BES.

You might be missing the video calling feature on your account.

It's free but it should be there automatically unless someone somehow removed it.

Currently we don't have a BES at work.
I guess it's possible that Telus block it or something. I have been trying to change WiFi to Network vice-versa by calling from my Q10. Same issue I can't answer from the Passport. It says "Can't answer the call: The network connection was temporary lost"

Also if I try to call from the Passport the "button" doesn't do anything.

From my Q10 it continues to ring. Then currently unavailable.

    Is your wifi restricted?

Check this cellular setting for me as well

    Settings>Network and Connections>Mobile Network

Scroll to the bottom of the page for me. At the bottom, it should read your service provider. Underneath that, the term "LTE" should be displayed. If you have "Voice Only" then you have some settings to change.

My WiFi is not restricted and I have 4GLTE.
No problems with my Q10 with my WiFi at home.
This could be I guess from my provider. I will see what I can do since it's a work phone so I may not have permission to call and change something.

Or this could be a BBM problem, since my colleague still able to use his BBM Voices, which he hasn't done an update.

I use it on the network on both my passport and z10. Been using it that way for a long time.

    Maybe it's carrier specific.

So I called my colleague with Passport with my Q10 and it works both Video and Voice via Network.

We have the same OS version

But I checked the BBM version...
Mine: 10.7.4.21 (could be a problematic release?)
His: 10.6.5.10 (Voice and Video works via Network)
