    So I just connected the passport. I have cell service, but when I try to connect to the wifi at home it says , connection failed due to a network problem, if this persists please contact your network administrator. Well that's me. I have entered the password and nothing happens. Is this a common problem? I just got the phone, so If there is a issue I would like to find them now so I can return the phone and get another one.

    Reset your Modem/Router, then try again with the correct wifi name and password, you should be good to go.
    Can you connect some other device ( a friends phone for example that has NOT been on your network)?
