    because i read in some website the OIS make the auto focus weakness !!
    .
    my passport camera still did't focus !! maybe if switch of OIS help's to fix this issue

    It seems to use the hardware much more efficiently

    As for turning off image stabilization, I don't think they gave us that level of control.
