Backup pro in BlackBerry world works and is popular.

Sent from one of my SE Passports using BB10 superior software.

I've been using Blend and Link on windows 10 since it came out; zero issues.
It has stopped working for many, including myself.

I was trying to load my q10 backup on to my passport SE and every time I clicked restore it kept circling and never let me choose a file to restore. Any assistance is welcomed.

Ummmmm yes? BlackBerry Link does a complete backup of every single feature, option and application on your phone....

    Posted via CB10 Passport
For sure, because it is not a third-party app. Since BBlink never worked for me at all, is there any other option?

BlackBerry Link works. You just have to uninstall everything related to BlackBerry on the PC, go through the folders and delete everything you can find, except your backups. Remove the USB settings related to BlackBerry.

Then you're good to go with installing fresh.

I read somewhere it's a Windows bug, not quite a BlackBerry issue.

Exactly. Like we've said, uninstall everything then reinstall. It will work.

Have you COMPLETELY removed Blackberry Link from your PC before trying a new install? You need to remove everything from the PC that is Blackberry related (including the Registry), then reboot your PC, and then download and install Link and Blend with the latest (and perhaps last version of BL). If this still does not work, then totally remove everything again and install the drivers, link and blend through your BB10 device and NOT through the Blackberry website download. When your PC has NO Blackberry software on it, plug in your device and it will bring up a window offering to load the drivers etc onto your PC. Allow this to happen, follow the instructions and see if you can get Link to work this way. There is also a known issue if you have iTunes installed. There is a way around this issue also. (search these forums for a workaround to iTunes). Good luck!

You have to scan through the folders as well, as not all folders are removed during uninstall.
