    I do notice a brighter spot on my Passport screen. Anyone knows what could cause this? And can it be fixed?

    Yes I think the same. Just seeking confirmation. As sturdy as the Passport looks outside, the screen apparently cannot handle drops equally well.

    That looks like a pressure mark, presumably either from a drop or something hard pressing up against the LCD panel.

    Unfortunately that is correct, there's no way to fix it outside of swapping the screen out. On the bright side (no pun intended) based on the picture at least, you shouldn't see it the majority of the time as long as there isn't a totally solid white background on the screen.
