I bought a Protag Duet ( Tag ) for my samsung a bit back, the whole Idea is very good, when your phone gets about 30 feet away from your tag it starts to biiiiip. But when I tried to get to work on my passport, it could not work because it needed googles account thing. Is there another way around it, or even better; a bluetooth tag for blackberry Passport ?

At what point does the app crash? I just downloaded and signed up and all seems fine. I don't have a tag to pair so I'm guessing it crashes when doing this?

You could try removing google dependencies using Cobalt's Lucky Patcher app. Do a search in CB, there's a thread about it. I've patched a few apps with great results.
