So just got a new BT speaker and when playing music the right channel has a sort of "rattle" sound to it. Almost like the speaker is messed up.

Did it with the last BT speaker I just returned today as I thought it was faulty.

Plugged directly into 3.5mm and no problems...two other phones (LG G3's) no problem...Passport? Distortion sounds.

Bug? Issue? I've tried both Neutron and the stock music player. Both do it so definitely a BT issue.

    Thanks for any help!

Check pairing with another device (laptop, BT headphones) . Probably it's not even getting 2.1 BT when paired with such speaker.

    OS version: 10.3.0.1418

Bluetooth speaker is a Q Experience Block. Sounds really good too! But yeah...same issues with this one as with another so I'm pretty sure it's the phone.

Sony bluetooth speaker here and it works fine. As well as the BT in the car.
    No audio problems at all.

Clear the BT speaker from any other device. Then try again with the passport.
But, turn passport completely off. Then wait 30-60 seconds and turn on. Once fully on try to pair again and see what happens.
