As everyone can read from the following photos, my BBPP has a dual-core instead of Quad-core. Does anyone has the same situation or it only happens to me?

The android app is picking it up wrongly.... seems as if it wouldn't be a sandbox but a virtualisation of the hardware for the android runtime....

    Anyone any info on this?

    Anything native. Like Geekbench.

Looks like BlackBerry sandboxed two cores to make sure if the Android app is a CPU hog, it won't affect the rest of the phone's functionality

Yes, that's what I got. I read the reviews, which said the software doesn't work after upgrade to OS 10.3.1. Maybe some time are needed to debug the software

I believe an Android app doesn't really read the CPU or any other hardware specs. The message is passed through the Android run time and the run time responds with what's been programed say instead of the actual hardware specs. Maybe the run time hasn't been updated for the Passport. I could be wrong though.

    Does the phone run fine?

Great! Then no need at all to be getting worked up over benchmarks..... Especially ones designed for another OS entirely!
