not certain right now. The price of the device still remains largely unknown, which is a big thing for somebody my age (16). My Z10 still works amazing after 1 year of loyal usage and I still enjoy talking about it to others. Some of my friends with iPhones and android flagships like a Sony Z1 are just jealeous, even if their phones are newer. So probably I'm going to wait for my current BlackBerry to fall apart and then even, I'm still not sure. The onscreen keyboard is just such a gem, and I consume a lot of media on my device. I'll have to see the price of the passport when this happens, and if there is a new all-touch BlackBerry by that time, it's going to be a difficult decision.

For some launch Information, the passport will be launched in the UK, for the event is scheduled there sometime in September.

As a daily phone, I doubt it. As a small tablet, possibly.

Yes and very much looking forward to it. It's going to be amazing. Perfect size and perfect shape. Just a truly amazing device.

Both: black and white, provided that their signal reception be at BlackBerry level (the best together Motorola). For me is one of the most important specifications and nearly all manufacturers are neglecting it (Apple and Samsung in the first place)

"Blackberry Passport: are you. Going to do it?"

I've been trying to get her to say yes all year, but she says I'll have to wait 'till prom I told all my friends we already did it though- and with those gorgeous child bearing hips I'll have no problem starting a pregnancy rumor to validate my claim that the Passport has already lost her virginity to me

Probably not me but for a family member. I'll unlock it first and play with then who knows. Plans might change.

Lol if my horrible carrier gets it, otherwise be forced to go with android .. Virgin Mobile Canada sucks when it comes to phones.

I've only gone through the first of three years on my contract, so my carrier won't let me upgrade. In any case it probably would have to be an outright purchase since Fido tends to only carry low end phones, apart from Apple and Samsung: no Z30, HTC M8, Sony Z2 or Lumia 1120. Just a sneaky trick to force customers into paying the exorbitant prices of Rogers.

It may not be immediate, depending on how much I have to fork over with a year left on my contract, but as soon after launch as I can manage.

Not impressed at all!!! IF that is true then the classic is screwed BIG time, I would at least expected the same specs as the passport!

Hell yeah! Just so long as I can get it on o2 direct as I get a good deal from them. Unfortunately it isn't looking overly likely as they have never sold the z30 and you currently can't buy bb10 in their retail stores.

For me it's all about the launch price, period. If the price is reasonable and value added, I am all in and will be the first one in line to buy one.

But, if Blackberry tacks some high end price tag on the password to try and squeeze an extra nickel out of the corporate sector, then it's the iPhone 6 for me. Now I am in a wait and see mode.

Apple of course being famous for their excellent value for money, particularly on phones with higher memory, I didn't realise the corporate sector could claim back apple tax.
I can almost guarantee it will be cheaper than the 32gb (equivalent memory) iphone 6, and probably a similar price to the 16gb device at launch. There isn't a great deal of price difference between flagship devices these days, at least here in the UK. Time will tell I guess but I doubt blackberry would price themselves out of the market.

If Verizon carries it then yes definitely. I have 5 upgrades available to me now so even if I do not like it the out of pocket will not be that bad. At the subsidized price I might as well keep it as a spare.
