My Android phone 4.1 can't successfully connect to my BlackBerry Passport hotspot..

Other devices, tv, laptop are all able to connect.

    Any solution?

Throw your Android device away, clearly junk. lol.

j/k... I've never heard of that issue before. Does it work without a password enabled on HotSpot?

I tried connecting to iPhone hotspot, regular wifi, and it all worked.

BlackBerry Passport Hotspot has no option to disable password.

New att passport, my z10 can see the Hotspot but my tablet won't see it. Tablet picks up the z10 hotspot though. Strange

Tried the band type, didn't work. I'm wondering if anyone knows the difference between the Z10 hotspot and the passport Hotspot. My tablet can see my Z10, the passport must do something different.

I think it's the android version. I tried other android devices with different OS versions, they all worked. iOS works too. Windows 8.1 works. Except for a specific version android 4.1.

My 'Mobile Hotspot' works great. In fact, I can connect my PS Vita to my PS4 through my Passport Mobile Hotspot using the Sony 'Remote Play' feature, just in case I'm out eating at say, a Burger King lounge, and want to play PS4 games using the hardware controls provided by the Vita. Sony and BlackBerry both realize the best way to game and communicate is by using hardware keyboards and game controllers.
