Open BlackBerry link and choose backup, let it back up then wipe the phone.

When the new phone comes, just launch Link, and then do a full restore of the backup you made to the new device.

Just becareful, if the "fault" you didn't descibe is backed up, when you restore to the new phone, the new phone will have the same "fault". Of course this is hypothetical. Depends on this "fault" you're referring too.

My phone arrived yesterday, going to switch to my new passport today also... does the calendar information switch to the new one? Apps?, for example my password manager? Will all the passwords I have switch? My money app which is MyAccountant, will all the stored information switch?

Everything will be transferred. You won't know the difference.

It basically does a full backup and restores it to the new device.

    Good luck.

Just be aware that doing a full restore from a backup can cause issues especially if you are transferring from an older BlackBerry device.

Doing it from a Passport to Passport, what kind of issues?

Since its passport to passport, I would just use device switch in Link rather then restoring a backup. Although I believe a full backup restored might carry over more information. Not 100% sure on that one.

No issues can be expected with this apart from obvious software issues that were present on original device. Good luck
