Hello Passport owners. Do any of you use your passport in a dusty and rugged work environment? For example, a construction site, parcel delivery service, landscape labor, etc.? I imagine the screen size would be useful especially if you rely so much on the calendar and email.

Not me but I know some people that do. They all use heavy duty cases and ghost armor full body protection as well

I operate a landscaping business using one. Sometimes a bit of dirt sticks to the rubberized back but only small amounts that are easily removable. I have had the phone since last December and so far no issues. I am especially careful of getting dirt in the keyboard mechanism however.

    Hope this helps

Can anyone tell us what cases the landscapers and construction gus are using? I have a Silver Edition and as cases become available the brand would be nice to know of what is working for everyone. Thanks

I'm a carpet/window cleaner and rely heavily on my mobile phones to run my business.

I've had Passports in the past and the best thing for me was to use the PD Air (For the OG model) sleeve and glass screen protector. This ensures that I will have 2 hands on the phone at all times lol.

On the weekends and/or going out, I use the Seidio belt clip (also for the OG model).

Now that I have and use the SE Passport, both cases are still working.

I love to meet those nuns...

Seriously, the Passport is not designed for rugged and harshly environment... you still need to be extra careful when bringing your Passport on those environments... as they always saying, 'prevention is still the best cure'...

My dad used to use my old 9810 as his daily driver. He works carpentry/ installation so there was lots of dust, harsh environment (heavy sun/rain) and plenty of phone dropping going on. I must say that little phone withstood quite a beating and still remained functional. But that keyboard was absolutely f***ed afterward :/

Beware of lots of dust + physical keyboards.
