    That's odd. Usually, it's about 28gb free (as in not used by system) but this is indicating 28gb total

    Everybody that uses digital storage faces this "issue". It's merely manufacturer advertised capacity versus operating system reported capacity, wherein the manufacturer reports in powers of 1000 and the OS is using powers of 1024. I have the same thing on my Z10 - BlackBerry says it has 16GB onboard storage, OS reports 14GB; my SD card is 32GB, OS says it's 29... just like your Passport.

    It is normal, take it easy. It is from technical calculation on capacity, like iBuilder says.
