    Hey guys,

I bought the leather passport case and is it only me and feels so inconvenient when you have to type?

The question is, when I take off the case does it matter? I mean, will it affect how good the case is or how good will it stick? I am asking because it is an expensive case.

I looked at it but decided to get the hardshell. I've tried flip cases on other phones and it was a pain to type.

Agreed. It may be good to save screen but not as good functionally as a hard case. For me a good screen protector and hard case is best combination. Worked with iPhone, HTC and now with passport.

I think I might have to buy the hard shell case. But did anyone try the flip case? Does the sticky back might not be as sticky if I remove the passport from it?

Can someone confirm if one could affix the hardshell case on the leather case allowing for easy removal without loosing the stickiness by removing too often without it?

Think someone tried that in another thread but they had trouble closing the flip case. Lots of people are attaching their hard shell case to standard Passport leather cases though.

    1. Can't use the hard shell with it.
    2. I have taken it off and removed it several times and haven't noticed any change in stickiness. I also kept the film it came with and put it back when I wasn't using it (rarely take it off)
    3. It is not for everyone but I just open it all the way (back to back leather) and it holds perfect in my hand.

I think I'd get used to flipping it around to use and type, but I realized it would suck for taking pictures/video though.

It actually makes it more sturdy from shaking and keeps your fingers away from the lens (holding it at 180 or 270 degrees)
