    Hey everybody,

    I just bought my blackberry passport a few days ago but unfortunately it fell and the screen got totally shattered!
    I looked everywhere for a replacement screen but couldnt find.

    Any tips?

    Not really, gorrilla glass or not, a drop from any height can cause a screen to break. Just needs the wrong surface, angle of impact etc and any screen can go.

    Yeah i found this out with the Note 3. Fell out of my lap, a couple of cm's from the ground. Shattered the glass.

    Contact BlackBerry and explain the situation to them. They will likely offer you a repair or an exchange. It should cost around $250.

    There is no other way to get the device repaired. There are no aftermarket parts available at all.

    Just happened to me, too. Came out of my jacket pocket with while withdrawing my hand and flew on to the pavement ahead of me. Not a great height but had a bit of a launch with the movement of my hand. Exploring options now and will update. Fortunately a good friend (and BlackBerry Elite member) immediately loaned me his extra Passport while I sort this out. I was shocked at the damage since I was under the impression my Passport was tough. Perhaps just really bad luck.Blackberry passport broken screen-img_20141214_141555.jpg

    My case is never coming off again!
    Thinking off doubling up on screen protectors too, paranoid about my naked screen.
