I have paired my device to my PC
But I get an error message" IPv6 communication is disabled "
Does anyone know how to get around this?
I have checked online troubleshooting but to no avail

Try going to settings > security > turn on developer mode.

Is the error on the phone or the computer?

    For Windows 7 and 8.x:
In your computer go to Network Adapter Settings. Select the Properties for the active network connection. Make sure there is a Check Mark on IPv6. Do not remove the Check Mark for IPv4.

If IPv6 is active, then this problem will be more advanced. You may have to make sure IPv6 is installed. It should be by default from when Windows was installed.

For iOS you will have to do more research...

I have renabled IPv6 via Windows

    Now Blend says this ;

    BlackBerry blend issue-img_20150412_181352.jpg

Blend is allowed to access internet via firewall and even with my anti-virus-anti-spam program switched off still I cannot connect, can't think what other progam is stopping Blend working?

    Anymore thoughts out there?

Sadly after numerous attempts to connect my passport to blend either via USB or WIFI I have sadly given up!

Even if I switch off my antivirus - does not connect

Firewall is set with both inbound and outbound rules to 'allow' blend to use my network.

    I'm confused

Now I still can't get Blend to work on my PC

But I can access my PC from my passport over wifi via file manager on passport and view any file I have saved on my PC all this via BlackBerry device manager

    WTF (

Are you installing it on a corporate or a work issued computer? If so, IPv6 communication could be disabled or blocked by your IT administrator.

I'm having the same issue with my corporate computer. However, blend on my home PC works just fine.

Not not an error, it's a feature!

Feeling the Blend pain too... but on my iPad. Haven't tried it on a PC.

It either doesn't connect, or, when it does, it's really slow to the point of being useless.

Makes you want to use email, etc on the iPad. Blasphemous as that may be... Oddly both my iPhone and iPad receive emails before my Passport anyway. They're like sneak previews for the Hub.

Any advice would be welcome. It's disappointing to keep hearing how great this feature is, and then have it not work.

Has anyone managed to solve the Blend incompatibility with antivirus (Symantec endpoint protection) for a work PC? Our organization's techs are trying to help me but they're pretty stumped. We have checked the firewall and IPv6 settings, they are fine. Can't get a connection via either USB cable or wireless. Very frustrating!
