Yesterday I charged my Passport to 100% and turned it off, as I was using my Classic. Today, my Classic's battery was a little low, and I was leaving my house so I went to put my sim in my SE Passport, and when I turned it on I got the empty red battery.

I was in a hurry so I used my Z30 which was almost fully charged, and then when I got home I checked the battery meter on my Passport and see this...

Bizarre Battery Issue on SE Passport-img_20151009_231411.png

I've never had battery issues on a BlackBerry 10 device before, so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this sort of nearly instant draining before?

How long have you have the device for? Have you experienced any other issues?

It say charging time - so something went oddly wrong here. Give it a reboot and a full charge. I would be surprised if the battery went south.

And: You have way too many phones to select from ;-)

OK, I have the same issue for now. I charged my battery, turned the device off, woke up the next morning, and found there was only 65% left. It turned out that something is eating my battery when it is off. Battery issue was what came to my mind first,so I changed it. It did not work. The same problem is still there. I also tried sic, reinstalling OS. Still, it didn't work. For the OP, I would say return your device for a new one as the warranty still covers( I assume). For me, I am going to change the USB port since I think it is the only possibility.

Do you have a micro sim and a nano sim that you use on your phones? I got rid of my Z30 because my Passport and Classic both use nano sims while the Z30 uses a micro sim.

I've had it since mid August, since I had to return the first one I bought due to its restarting issues.

    That makes sense.
