    Why ?? won't my new BB Passport with WiFi 802.11 ac not connect with the ac to my new Apple Airport Time Capsule which also has 802.11 ac WiFi ?
    The Passport and that Apple router will only connect with the "n" channel. It works well with n but it would be much faster with ac .

    Knowing both brands, I would say it's an issue with Apple not BB
    BB sometimes has software issues (rarely), but Apple's hardware is often incompatible with anyone else

    My passport connects just fine with different AC routers, and I get aprx 433 Mbps. Have not tried that fruit thing though...

    Do you have 40mhz on the apple router?

    I get full ac speeds on linksys wrt1900 and passport.

    Thank you for your replies. I, finally, was able to connect my BB Passport to my Apple Airport Time Capsule with 802.11ac WiFi.
    I had to set the Time Capsule to the 5GHz setting for my BB to catch it. The BB has 433 Mbs and RSSI -43dBm. on 5GHz
    I now can set my BB to WiFi ac or n. Can't really notice much of a difference. The.. n.. seems to give a stronger signal but a slower speed.
