    hi,

I've shifted from Passport to silver edition, the switching device backup didn't work due to the large file I've on my previous device, so I tried to do the backup manually, and it works for the applications and date files, but I can't transfer the media file ( 6 GB ).....can anyone advice ?

Can you just copy the file to your PC using Windows Explorer?

I always did selective backup and restores (actually I hardly ever did a restore).....

Email, Calendar and Contacts were always synced to the cloud so no need to back those up.

Media - Docs, Movies, Music, Pictures.. always had those SYNCED to my desktop and to OneDrive.

Really no need to backup data that you backup another way.
