Just got my SE ytd and I am quite happy with it after using one day!

There is one problem, I can't connect to my home wifi, actually the devices connected to my wifi for like 3~5s then all of my other device (mac, iPad) as well as the SE will lose the connection and I need to restart the route again. I don't have any problem when my mac and iPad connecting to the WIFI, it only happened when the SE connected. What should I do?

    ps:Sorry for the English

Have you tried turning WiFi off and then on again on the Passport? Also shutting down and restarting it might be worth trying.

What OS version is your Passport on? It sounds odd that it only happens when the Passport is connected and ruins the whole WIFI connections.

To BB or not to BBBBBB...?

Had a similar issue with my Z10. Downgrade the firmware on your router to an earlier version, that solved the issue for me.

Actually it didn't lose the connections, it still connected on my mac and ipad but it will lose the connections to the Internet when my se is connected to the route.

Have you tried turning off your iPad and Mac to see if your router is having trouble adding another connection? If your router is getting interference from other sources, it may limit the number of devices you can connect.

Use the built in Wireless Diagnostic tool in you Mac OS to see what is the best channel to set your router to: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT202663 Many routers default to Channel 6.

One suggestion. Can you open the router setting and limit the speed to lower threshold like 54Mbps? Newer router has higher speed but the connection is not very stable for all devices.

Router setting, not the computer. There is a IP address on your wireless router's label. Usually it's 192.168.0.1. Type that in the browser and enter. When asked for password and user name, they are admin/admin by default unless you have changed them. Google the manufacturer's instruction on how to change speed.

What security type is setup in the router? Try changing it between the options, WPA, WPA2 etc, also change the wireless channel.

It's not always easy to find a universal setup that works with all of your devices, but you can solve it by testing different set ups within the router, generally it comes down to wifi channel or security settings, you can also try to change wireless to just G and N type wifi.

tp link 150 is a very cheap hardware router. Buy a quality Netgear that is 300 model at least. 600 if you can.

I would check what IP addresses are assigned to each device. It seems like Passport is getting the already assigned IP and this is root cause.

If this is not the case, I would look into router error log, where you should see error messages around time you connected with Passport.

This could be it. I have a TPLINK router sitting in the shed right now. It's totally useless. You may borrow a different make router to see if that's the reason. Good router is always recommended.

A good phone app for scanning WiFi networks which displays both IP and MAC Addresses is Fing, from the Amazon App Store: http://www.amazon.com/Overlook-Fing-...UvbUpU11935894
