I've downloaded a number of automatic SMS response apps from the Amazon app store and after installing them and launching the app and activating an automatic response...they don't work. Can anyone shed any light on something that I might be doing wrong? Perhaps I have a setting turned off that needs to be turned on. I would like this to work for when I'm driving.

Thanks is advance for any input you might have.

They're Android apps. They don't always have full access to run in the background and even when they do, it's a bit hit and miss. Under settings> security and privacy>app permissions is where you can check.

Even then, I don't believe android apps can access the telephony / text messaging stack on BB10.

I bought a BlackBerry World app called Autoreply. Works great! Thanks for the help.
