So I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a Passport (currently have a z30 and love it).
One thing holding me back :
How do Android Apps look on the screen, when they are pretty much all intended/designed to run on narrow aspect ratio screens?
Should I expect some to run with black bars on the sides? Or stretched?

They look great, the option to zoom out looks great sometimes and other times I find myself zooming back in. I run android apps 90 percent of the time and km loving it still

Actually there's a configure that's allow you to display android apps for scale 1:1 like on Q10 or Passport. I don't use android apps much but it's something that you might want to search for it

So they run with black bars on the side unless you zoom in?

Do you know where this setting is? Does it stretch the picture so it's unnaturally wide?

Depends on the app, sometime it can look horrible and sometimes it can look good. Note that regular mode is available on 10.3.1

Thanks a lot for taking the time with the screencaps.
What about games like Candy Crush?

Oh cool. I just discovered a new setting. Someone was saying the black bars are ugly and taking up screen estate. I didn't mind it and now thanks to this thread I found ways to maximize usage of Android apps.

Wait how did you get it to have black bars so the app worked properly? Are you running 10.3.1?
