Yep! the first time I saw that on the Apple Event, I yelled out, "That's BlackBerry's, you copied from BlackBerry!!"

That's all Apple is good at!
Coping other makers ideas with a small twist in attempts to not have to pay the company that came up with the idea.

Apple and Blackberry should just make a phone together for God's sake. They should call it...Appleberry.

I fail to see the problem here. Don't all businesses borrow and steal from each other? BlackBerry needs to learn this same lesson instead of taking the high road and trying to be different. They've missed on so many opportunities I've lost count. I'm not a fan of how Apple conducts business, but they are great at taking an idea and making it "work better" on their own platform.
I'm sure in the next few years iOS will switch more and more to a gesture based OS, and that home button will disappear. Take a look at what 3D touch is doing right now and just imagine what is next. The idea of swiping in hard from the left to activate the app switcher is the same as BlackBerry 10 swipe up. Peek and pop is another great "borrow". Did anyone here think another company, especially Apple, would find a great way to roll that into iOS considering how dated iOS is? Can't wait to see what they take from BlackBerry next because BlackBerry isn't using anything they've developed to their benefit so why not let someone else do it.

They laugh at me because I'm different; I laugh at them because they're all the same. 

'Innovation' is not only the needed ingredient to be successful in business. One must have 'intellectual marketing' too.

BlackBerry maybe good in innovation but without intellectual marketing, they'll end up like they are the one copying.

The point is while Apple has a marketing plan, BlackBerry has not. This is the only reason for such a poor success on BB10.

Everybody is copying from everybody at some point. Another take on Apple: Those live-photos everyone is raving about isn't new either, Nokia for sure introduced it with the Lumia 1020 and later brought it to more Lumia devices.
