    Hi All

    I was just wondering if there is anyway you can change the red LED notification like to a different colour for different things ?, My blackberry of OLD the Bold I used to use a 3rd party app to change the colours say blue for texts and green for emails.

    Anyone know if you can do this in the Passport or any 3rd party app ?

    Hub++ can take care of all that.

    Do a search for colour or color change in App World...

    BlackBerry is fond of their red light so they haven't given us a built-in option, but there are plenty of 3rd party apps that do that, and much more.

    Personally I like Power Tools as it has geofencing features that I really like.

    The next OS 10.3.1 comes with the feature but it has up and downs. The best bet is to use both OS and the 3rd party app.

    10.3.1

    UPs: You can assign different color LED for BBM contacts. HUB++ or BeBuzz doesn't have the capabilities to assign BBM contact specific LEDs besides the BBM calls.

    Downs: you cannot combine LEDs. You are pretty much stuck with the native color within the OS. I believe there are 6 or 7.

    Hub++

    Ups: massive customization options and ability to combine LED colors and patterns.

    Downs: the setup can be little bit tricky and requires a thoughtful planning. Because there is a chance the notifications overlapping each other, you have to careful which feature in side of which notification setting you will have to activate. I found it the easiest to use HUB++ just for the LEDs. So you deactivate LEDs from the main OS notification profile and let HUB++ manage it.

    Only downside of it is, like I said above, you cannot tag BBM contacts with different color LEDs.
