I'm in Toronto, bought my Passport from Rogers, currently running stock 10.3.0 but still not getting the OTA update from Rogers for this phone. They did push the Z30 update a couple of days ago, finally. Has anyone with a Rogers PP (NOT bought from Shop BlackBerry) gotten the update from Rogers? Thanks.

Yeah got my update as mine is unlocked. I'd say stay away with the new software update. List of issues so far.

-Auto focus on camera no longer works
-phone flickers once in a while
-keyboard no longer lights up

Yes. Got it on Wednesday. Fido user in Victoria, BC on an unlocked Passport purchased from Shop BlackBerry.

Works well and no flickering.

My expectation is this: the upgrade for the Passport Rogers first tested had the flickering issue, so they have been testing others, some of which are the ones which were likely leaked already. I have no direct knowledge of this, just taking an educated guess.

Rogers has released it to a few devices already, but they're waiting for the final version from BlackBerry that doesn't have these major issues for each device (i.e. Flicker for Passport, etc).

Once BlackBerry has the final version submitted and they're satisfied with it, they'll push it through for the rest of the devices.

Rogers and Blackberry are both on about equal footing for one being able to count on for consistent and reliable customer service. And that level is pathetic in my books.

I spoke with my Rogers Business Live Agent and they are blaming BlackBerry for it...no suitable release for Passport, could take a month. I'm just passing on what he said.
