I'm just now realizing how well the Android Runtime works on my OG Passport. I've tried Hulu before with no luck, but I downloaded it last night, and it ran as well as if were on the Priv. No joke, it felt like a native experience. Could be that it was downloaded via Snap rather than Amazon (i think that's where i downloaded before).

My laptop died in the middle of a show, I quickly grabbed Hulu from Snap and logged in. My show is the first thing there, I hit resume, and it just plays and works. Not a single slowdown or issue.

It's such a shame that we won't see a Marshmallow runtime.

I've tried it before and it didn't work was my experience also. So I tried Netflix and it worked fine. I just installed Hulu (again) about a week ago, and it works great ... like native as you mentioned ... no issues at all.

I thought it was due to the latest ART update BlackBerry sent out. Don't know for sure ... just happy that it works.

I have a jelly bean tablet. It's hardly an abandoned version of Android.


I also found hulu not working sometime ago. Works great on 2514 79 leak.

The recent patch to the Android runtime allowed Hulu to operate again, and made some graphic-intensive Android games load much faster.

If I were you, I would back up that version of Hulu right away

It seems the latest ART fix helps a lot.
Previously there're couple of Andriod apps cannot work on my Classic & after patching the latest fix, they start to work :-)
