So it finally came in the mail this afternoon, I've had a few hours to play around with it, and so far everything seems to be working very well. No glitches or hangups to report, all my apps loaded on flawlessly, and there has not been any force closes on any of them so far. Blackberry Hub and Privacy Dashboard are on it, not too sure what is preloaded on a Priv so I can't compare. Any other questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Not too bad. Although I'm used to my Note 3, which isn't a great benchmark. I got it with around 60%, have been downloading and testing all my apps since around 4pm constantly, and it's at around 6% now.

Any problems with apps on the 1:1 screen ratio? I know Google is rather strict on this

    1. How about the Netflix? Is it optimised for 1:1 screen ratio?
    2. Can "back to home" be performed by swiping up from the bottom of the screen to up like in BlackBerry 10?

Yeah any issues with the scaling on the screen, some apps might not work that well with the aspect ratio?

Apps seem to run fine. When a new app is installed, a pop up comes and asks if you want to run the app in wide screen. With wide-screen enabled, it scales to the screen perfectly with no stretching. If you do not enable it, it runs in 4:3 with black side bars.

Netflix runs great. Was watching some American Dad and it scales to 4:3, tiny bars on top and bottom that are more than acceptable.

There's no swipe to go back to home, although the Android soft home, back, and recent apps keys are always on screen.

Does typing work the same as on BB10 with the virtual row above the physical?

Typing is excellent. Feels great to be back on a Blackberry. I'm not sure how it is on the BB10 keyboard, but there is a virtual row right above the keyboard with a shift key, common punctuation, and the "@123" key to activate the full numerical/symbol virtual keyboard.

Does the camera work better with this software, than the bb10 software?

BTW, any issues on Google play store app device compatibilities from what you've seen so far? Or is it safe to assume that as long as the android version allows it, it will install the app? And would it get updates, like android updates possibly?

From what I've heard that device cannot be updated. Personally I think BB10 with the Play Store via Cobalt is the perfect compromise...all the fluidity and functionality of BB10 OS with the Android apps everyone wants. I think Snap Chat is one of the few that plain doesn't work but other than that I have all the apps I need and don't need to run full Android to get them.

    Holy crap

    I want one of those.

I love my passport, but am slowly getting used to android via my priv

But I hate the aspect ratio of the priv compared to the passport

I love the keyboard on the passport, full stop

I want one. I want one. I want one

Passport SE with BlackBerry Android please.
