Does anyone know of a equalizer app that will boost up the output on the 3.5mm port? Especially when using it as auxiliary output to another head unit?

Something that will work with any audio playing app whether I'm playing mp3 or streaming music.

    I saw that one.
Have you or anyone had experience with that app?
$6 bucks is a little steep for an app that may not do what I'm looking for it to do.

I messaged the developer of the app. Hopefully hear back soon.

The developer response from Neutron Music Player.......

"Neutron will not be able to increase hardware volume higher than the stock player, both will use the same API. Rhapsody is not supported unless you can extract a direct URL to the audio stream."

So that app won't work for me.

Does power amp use the same API as stock ?
And it looks like it's only for stored audio play back. Like mp3 and such.

I need something that will work with streaming audio apps also.

    Update!
Found this cable, just ordered it.
Should fake the Passport into thinking headphones are plugged in.
And than should be able to use the headphone audio boost that's found in settings.
Once I get them and try them out I'll let you all know.

That doesn't work with streaming audio Android apps. Been there, tried it.

I just got the chord I posted.
Can now confirm, headphone audio boost works with a cable like that.
No need for an alternative app to amplify the volume.
