Even with the app killer, amazon app store doesn't fully close. I exit out of the Window 'closing' the app. When I go into the app killer though, it tells me it's still open. Is this occurring with anyone else? I feel like this could be affecting battery life.

I've little confidence an android app killer works effectively on our phones. Did you look in security->application permissions, and disable run in background? I have noticed, even when set, Amazon will use a tiny bit of CPU, but hardly worth worrying about.

Edit - Just checked, and for the last 24hrs, both app store and store combined used less than 1.5% of battery or CPU.

I use Ghost Commander to force close my Android apps. It usually works...for a while

Don't have that option. But thanks for the headsup. As long as it doesn't chew up my battery life I'm happy. I was just slightly worried that having it run in the background could cause severe drain. Thanks for the headsup and time you took to check out the stats.
