About 1,000 pictures, goodness knows how many albums and about 8 self shot videos have suddenly disappeared from my Passport. I have absolutely no idea why, everything was fine at least until last night when I was listening to music on the way home from work. Nothing has changed since, I've not even connected to my computer to back up for a few days. I'm pretty sure I have all the pictures and music stored elsewhere but not the videos. Anyone have any idea what happened?

More details might be helpful, stored on a media card or device memory? Os version?

Sorry, I meant to mention those things but I had to take off for a few minutes. I'm running 10.3.0.908 and all items were stored on the SD card. Actually, they still are. I took a look at the card under Settings > Storage & Access > Media Card Details and it's showing that all the files are still there. I took a screen shot but it won't let me attach anything to email or even a post via CB10. I've tried hard and soft reboots with no luck.

I ran into this issue. I have about 5,500 songs on my SD card, and all of the sudden the passport wasn't recognizing the card. I shut the phone down, removed the SD card, popped it back in, and all is well.

Got the card out, hard because of the flip case. It reads through an adapter on my computer but still won't read on my Passport. Will keep trying.

I would suggest you back it up on your pc and then format it on the phone, then you can restore all of the info back to the SD CARD, it might be failing slowly so is a good idea to do bit anyways

I had the card out twice but it didn't seem to do any good. Left it alone for about 30 minutes and everything's back to normal as if nothing had happened! I manually backed up the card and will format it again if it pulls the same stunt again. Thanks for the advice everyone!

Just as an aside, the adhesive on the flip case didn't look like it wouldn't stick down again but a little bit of prolonged pressure has it back as new again. Don't think I'll be doing a flip case again, will keep my eyes open for a slip case next time.
