I came from the z10 and have been using the passport for about 4 days now. This is the best phone i have used in my life so far. The only problem is how to hold it. Sometimes it sits on my pinkies sometimes the finger adjacent to pinkies, but I feel like it is gonna tip over. Typing isn't a problem. Anybody got any advise or is it part of the learning curve? Also everyone likes the phone but my wife(she doesn't like anything that I like)

I normally rest the bottom of the phone on my right pinky and fan out the other 3 fingers for support while I type. If I type 2 handed I mimic the same position with my left.

There was mention of other methods but I find that this one works best for me.

I rest the phone my pinkies ie the bottom of the phone. Doesn't feel like it's going to tip over or fall out of my hands. Perfectly balanced as the 3 rows keyboard is pretty low but as I said it's perfectly balanced, it's not top or bottom heavy which is hard to believe with such an odd form factor.

When holding it one hand I let it rest on the pinkie, when typing pinkies+adjacent finger because if I only use the pinkies I feel that the KB is too low.

Find left hand dominate use is much more effective. What I mean is you hold a bit higher up the phone on your left hand. The allows more control of the the hub. Also when releasing for use with one hand or touch screen use with right hand.

I think I have been resting my index finger or fingers to low when typing, that's why it feels like it is going to fall over. I actually am liking the fan out fingers method in back of phone.

What angle are you holding it at? 70 degrees? I like to hold mine between 30 and 45 which might also be why it likes to want to feel like it's tipping out...

If I'm standing it's probably closer to the 30 degree angle.. sitting is more like 45-50 degrees.
