Has anyone on here had issues with 64Gb memory cards, I've tried both formatting on the device and on a laptop, when inserted into the PP it just requests that the card be formatted each and every time. I've tried it in an HTC One M9 without an issue so I'm sure the card is ok.

Micro SD cards can be easily damaged!? From personal experience don't fiddle faddle too much with them and once u install one in device leave it.

Well I've tried another 64Gb card (Sandisk) this time and it worked without formatting, no issues. It must be an issue with the card, just strange it worked ok in another phone. What is the maximum capacity card a PP will take?

Some faster SD cards have this issue, You need to format to fat32, but since windows7 does not support it then, download a program like this Fat32Formatter . format card to fat32, problem solved....

had to do it with my 128gb card. my passport kept saying downloading sd drivers, but would error every-time. once i formatted to fat32 worked like a charm,....

So, the conclusion would be, to use the 64GB Lexar Card to BlackBerry Passport, you need to have HTC One M9 to format the card? It's sound complicated, isn't?

You really shouldn't format anything bigger than 32gb as fat32.
