    Thanks still considering the temptation. Thinking about the fact that the battery could be replaced so is this a device one could own for 10 years? If so the cost is good over that time period.

    If it will take 10 years to realize the full value of it, then perhaps you shouldn't be buying this device. Technology will change a lot in 10 years. No doubt it's fancy, but ultimately, it's value is in it's utility... unless the fanciness will actually help you advance in some way...

    When buying the P'9983, you are purchasing it solely for the Premium Design, Premium Brand Name and 64GB of storage.

    If you want to purchase it and keep it for 10 years as your daily driver, you will start to become disappointed after 4 - 5 years.

    Tech moves on and it will become very slow in comparison to others 5 years down the line. It's without a doubt a collectors item and will definitely turn heads

    I agree.... It's definitely a collectors item but using this device and 'depreciating' it over a 10 year period is a bit much.... I'd say 3 at most.
