    The leather door is great, too bad the quality isn't. The corners will start to wear away within a few days of being in your pocket. It's dark so it's not that noticeable but it should be of better quality.

    I totally agree about how much better this phone is compared to the Q10...primarily the way it feels in the hand and the keyboard experience etc...I have a classic and really like the keyboard compared to my Q10 however this phone is on par for the best keyboard since the 9900 for typing speed and accuracy for me!!

    Have been "playing" with the graphite since I got this last night. Am totally loving this over the Passport SE. Very pocketable and so much lighter. I agree that the Passport is a lot faster (because of specs) but the P'9983 is a lot easier for me to use as a daily phone. I do wish they put more LTE bands in the Porsche Design phones (at least to match the ones in the Passport)...but then, where I live and work, the LTE bands in the PD is good. I do travel overseas a lot though...may need to use the Passport (haha, literally bring my passport and the Passport SE) for my overseas trips.

    I'm on T-Mobile in NYC. Are you saying the P'9983 does not have LTE capability?

    P'9983 has LTE capability, it just has lesser LTE bands compared to the Passport so one may not have LTE if one travels in other countries (specifically Asia where some of the LTE bands used are not included in the P'9983 but are included in the Passport).

    I have found that the holsters wear off the paint off of the edges the chin very quickly. I won't use pouches or swivels due to that anymore. Although, despite what some fashion police say, it is the best way to carry a phone imho

    Why nervous to use q10 batt? Exactly the same. I have used my q10 batts exclusively. Left the PD wrapped for better resale if the situation occurs. The only issue with batteries, is the difficult rear cover. Worried about accelerated wear due to how difficult it is to remove

    I absolutely love my P9983. Had to buy two. The first one I accidentally broke the sim tray by using an adapter. DO NOT USE AN ADAPTER FOR THE SIM! Had to buy another one. It's a beautiful phone and it turns head every where I go! Enjoy!

    Like ray said works great. I bought from Amazon and serves me well with my graphite super machine. (Not had an offer of the legover yet even though placing it on the bar in front of me)

    Dear Friends, help me, please! Last month I decided to buy BB Priv device (I want to replace my iPhone 6s Plus) for daily work and use at home, on the road and in office.
    For me the main things I need are convenience in typing (I use MS Office a lot, about 10 hours a day), Adobe Acrobat, etc., and also autonomy. I am working in the sphere of science, so I work with a lot of researches and databases. I need to read them, analyze, systematize. And I am also doing a lot of administrative work, that is why I always have hundreds emails every day and I should response on them very quickly, so I really work online. I also have a lot of calls and sms every day from my colleagues. I use Facebook and LinkedIn, Viber and Skype for work.
    Now I am using my BlackBerry Priv during 2,5 weeks and I am absolutely not satisfied with this device.
    1) It is much slower than my previous Galaxy Note 5 and Iphone 6s Plus!
    2) BlackBerry Hub is not the same as in BB10 (much slower and less productive, after 5 days I have deleted it);
    3) Less screen space than on Note 5 or 6s plus;
    4) Physical keyboard for me is not so comfortable as on my previous Passport Black.
    5) Three annoying things:
    - slider mechanism is awful (I mean the top panel shakes about the lower)
    - in 20 minutes of use Priv becomes very hot!
    - battery life (sometimes it is 7 hours and sometimes it is 2,5 hours).
    That is why I will try to sell Priv and I do not really know what to buy. I have two varients:
    1) To buy tool phone (I mean for calls, sms, mms, bbm, viber, whatsup, skype, mail) - BlackBerry P9983 or BlackBerry Classic and the second device for all the other work (I mean MS Office, videos, web), for example, Ipad Pro or Surface 3 or Vaio S11 2016 model (something not very heavy and with integrated LTE).
    2) To buy fast Android device with bigger screen to make all the work on it (Note 5, Huawei Mate 8, Sony Z6 Ultra (maybe Sony will show it on the 5th of January)).
    That is why I want to ask You what are Pros and Cons for BlackBerry P9983 vs Classic? Will You recommend it for me?
    Thank You!

    I can buy now new PD phone p9983 for 630 Euro. But I am afraid that it can be worser than Classic and Passport.
