That's true. Blackberry is now like all other companies (not apple) on the smartphone market. They are using a unfinished os from a company which is a search engine.

Maybe it will bring something positive, I don't know. Also I think that android was the only chance to be competitive to the other companies.
But not this way. More bb soul we need in the new devices. When I see the priv, it's like a Samsung with keyboard.
The os is terrible. Bb 10 is much better, for productivity. I know We have a lack of apps, but that's the reason why I'm using bb. I don't need these apps.


Anyway, hope to see a nice blackberry Porsche design this year. For sure it will run android, but if it's not a slider, then it will be good , I hope

PD rarely adds anything meaningful to a phone. If they do a Priv at least we'd be rid of the Priv name. And maybe they could redesign the keyboard to be a roomy smiley faced Bold 9900 design. I'd want the phone if it had a decent pkb.

If for no other reason, I would see PD and Android as mutually exclusive. From a marketing and product placement point of view. Even with Blandroid inflicted, PD would like assume it is not an exclusive enough OS for a PD design. . . .
