Hey guys, I just received my P9983 from an Amazon seller (brand new in box) and it looks like it has some sort of special characters here on the keyboard that I was not expecting at all. The seller responded saying it was an international version but my concern is the version I got will not handle the US bands the best being its not intended for Extended use in US most likely. Do you guys know if there are different band versions of the P9983 graphite or is it simply a keyboard character change? Thanks in advance.

NETWORK BANDS

North America

Quad band LTE 2, 4, 5, 17 (1900, 1700, 850, 700 MHz)

Tri Band HSPA+ 1, 2, 5/6 (2100, 1900, 850 MHz)

Quad band EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

All other regions

Quad band LTE 3, 7, 8, 20 (1800/2600/900/800 MHz)

Quad Band HSPA+ 1, 2, 5/6, 8 (2100/1900/850/900 MHz)

Quad band EDGE 2, 3, 5, 8 (1900/1800/850/900 MHz)

So the International version doesn't have any of the LTE frequencies of the NA/US version. however it should work for HSPA+(4G)
