So after a months of saving Im on the verge of buying a Porsche design blackberry. I have been eyeing the phone since its release.
The question is since the release of BB10, will Porsche design also come out with a new blackberry to support bb10? And will that make me spending $2,000 right now point less.

should I wait or go for the p9981 ?

Actually I didn't have $2k to spend on a phone. I have saved up for quite some time to be able to spend so much on a phone. I just feel that if today I buy a Porsche Design P9981 and maybe by Jan Porsche Design comes out with a new blackberry which supports BB10, me saving up for such a long time would be a waste and I should have just waited a little longer for the 'New' Porsche design.

It really depends!! When you buy the P9981, you are buying something that is limited in production and rare. As for BB10, it will be like any run of the mill blackberry that RIM produces .......can be bought anytime, anywhere and will only costs a fraction of the price of the P9981.

For me I would buy the P9981 for the rarity of the product as I know at a certain point of time it would not be available. As for BB10, if and when it ever comes to market....it will be everywhere

As for the possibility of porsche design creating a new collaboration project with blackberry i actually doubt it I have a strong feeling that this will be the only model they will release, there is a rumor of an updated version of the P'9981 called P'9531 which has exactly the same exterior as its predecessor if it even happen. The BB10 will be a dime a dozen. I say go ahead and purchase the P'9981 for its rareness and collection status.......they won't be around that long and it's not a phone that you see on a regular basis. Dare to be DIFFERENT
