It used to happen to me every day. I had to do a clean reinstall and eliminate most of the OS sensitive apps (such as Quck Start) to get rid of the problems.

those flashlight apps are the worst. i had one installed and it caused all sorts of bugs starting w the dreaded no sound during call bug.

The "no sound" is because of the flashlight app? i have been looking for an answer. It happens to me once or twice a week.

I think its a software bug!

Cause i have 2 PD and it have same problems.

I deleted some programms and sensor stops working only once a day.
    I have only

Dont know what to delete maybe sensor stopped working due to some App !
Cause when i have flashlight app i have 2-3 bugs a day when sensor stops working!

Considering your screen is the same, make sure you're not standing with the screen in direct sunlight...

Seems to be an issue... I can't explain it, it just happens.. I haven't read up on the technical aspects of the screen's sensory...

I am outside most all the time with my 9930, but if it is a brighter day, I must shadow my screen to get it to work properly....

    I hope this helps...

For me practically all the time it stops working indoors where there is no sunlight.
    Also in darky rooms Too.
